Here is the perfect, healthy and yummy Valentine's treat. No flour and  no refined sugar. Guess the secret ingredient: Black beans. It is easy to prepare and full of proteins and fibre, 

Ingredients:

1 can no salt black beans, wash and drain them well (excess water changes the texture)

3 eggs

1/4 cup raw cocoa powder

1/2 cup butter (melt and use some to spread on baking pan)

pinch of sea salt

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

3/4 cup maple sugar

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, I try using cinnamon in desserts for blood sugar regulation)

For the strawberry sauce:

1 1/2 cups organic strawberries

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup crashed ice

Heat the oven to 350 F. Put the all ingredients except chocolate chips and walnut to a blender and mix until you have a homogenous mixture. Add in the walnut and chocolate chips , mix well. Pour the mixture in a buttered baking pan. (8x8 inch)  Cook for 30 minutes. Blend the strawberry sauce ingredients in a blender . Serve the brownies warm with cool strawberry sauce.
