This is a great healthy soup, full of vegan protein, easy to prepare , yummy and no fat at all.
1 cups red lentil, washed and drained
5 cups of water
½ onion roughly diced
2 celery stalks sliced
1 carrot sliced
1 teaspoon of powder turmeric
chili powder to garnish
Put all the ingredients in a pot , except the chili powder. Bring to boil and keep it boiling in slow heat until all veggies are soft. You can clean up the foam on the surface with a spoon. Use a hand blender to mesh it all to make a creamy soup.Serve with chili powder . Buon Apetite..
