BLUEBERRY YOGURT WITH FRUITS
Yogurt is a great option for breakfast with its protein,calcium and most importantly rich healthy bacteria for our guts. The fruit yogurts sold in the market are full of sugar and other additives . When I was a kid, yogurt was something that is cultured at home and never bought from the market. Now I am back to those days and making my own yogurt from organic whole milk. This recipe is a healthy alternative to the commercial fruit yogurts in the market.
2 cups of homemade organic yogurt
2 tbs honey or maple syrup
1/2 cups of blueberries
1 cup of fruits of your choice (Strawberry and peach are some yummy options)
1 tbs chia seeds
1/4 cups of walnuts
Mix yogurt, blueberries and maple syrup in a food processor. Place rest of the ingredients in a bowl and add the yogurt on top. Buon Apetite..
